Silvana Brambilla

Silvana Brambilla - Sponsorship Manager

Since 2005, Silvana has been part of the Christian Children's Fund of Canada (CCFC) - Paraguay Country Office. At the beginning she served as Program Officer for seven years, after becoming the Manager of the Sponsorship Area in the last two and a half years. In her career, she held positions of technical coordination in local NGOs such as the Food Banking where Social Corporative Responsibility is promoted, the NGO "Raíces" (Roots) being counterparty of Unicef for several years in a project of a Commission with organizations such as GTZ (Germany funds), institutions from the government such as the Ministry of Justice and Labor, Supreme Court, General Attorney, Public Defender, and others on human rights issues. She was involved also in consultancy with Plan International, CISNI (Council of the National Integrity System) and others. She also had the opportunity to get involved into the social work through volunteer work such as in "Un techo para mi país" (A roof for my country) and catechism for children with disabilities in the Guanellian work.

She completed a specialization in Management and Social Development in Asunción, as well as courses of indicators, social management with INDES of IDB and a course in Venice-Italy. Her interest over the years was focusing on Early Childhood Development, which allowed her to take courses with Hincks-Dellcrest Centre, the Ibero-American States Organization being part of the course on "Training in Public Policies for Early Childhood".

She has been part of the working groups, supporting since 2008 until the launch of the National Plan for Early Childhood Development in 2011. Currently, she plays support activities in the area of early childhood in and out of CCFC, and actively participates in and promotes the formation of a Network on Early Childhood bringing together about twenty organizations working on the issue in Paraguay.
